ALFA University College Strengthens Global Ties with Tishk International University

On February 25, 2025, ALFA University College (AUC) and Tishk International University (TIU) (www.tiu.edu.iq) held a virtual meeting aimed at strengthening academic and institutional collaboration between the two institutions.

The meeting was attended by distinguished representatives from both sides. Representing AUC were Prof. Dr. Nurliza Haslin Binti Muslim, Vice-Chancellor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aszlan Bin Selamat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Mr. Severo Alon Ochoa, Director of International Collaboration; and Mr. Jasim Nadheer Hussein, International Education Advisor. From TIU, participants included Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President; Mr. Karwan Sherwani, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics; Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, University President; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of the International Relations Office. During the session, both institutions shared comprehensive presentations on their academic programmes, research initiatives, and institutional strengths. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formalizing their partnership and laying a solid foundation for future academic cooperation and joint initiatives.
