Programme Overview

A foundation course is a programme that will prepare you for an undergraduate degree at university. Studying a foundation course will help you attain the correct level of qualifications and skills to pursue a degree at university. A foundation year is usually available as a three-term programme which is made up of academic modules and specific modules related to your chosen subject.

Entry Requirements

Completed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least a credit in 5 subjects including Mathematics or other qualifications equivalent to it; or

Completed O-Level with at least Grade C in 5 subjects including Mathematics or other qualifications equivalent to it; or

Completed Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics or other qualifications equivalent to it; or

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent to it by the Government of Malaysia.

SPECIFIC CORE & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Competency Requirement:
- Achieve Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent qualification OR

- possess a credit in English Language at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
