Programme Overview

Diploma In Pharmacy at ALFA University College has been established to provide knowledge, information and increase graduates’ experience in the operations and management functions available in the Healthcare industry. Hence, this study will focus on the healthcare industry’s operations and management, such as anatomy, medical teminologies, healthcare management, planning & promotion and many more. Besides, this program also will prepare graduates in the world of professionalism and careers in healthcare, nursing management, medical management and conferences.

Entry Requirements

SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (SPM) PATHWAY

Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and minimum of 3 credits in the following subjects:
- Mathematics or one (1) Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science);
- Any two (2) other subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English).

GCE O-LEVEL PATHWAY

A pass in General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and a minimum of 3 credits (Grade C) in the following subjects:
- Mathematics or 1 Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science);
- Any 2 other subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English).

CERTIFICATE PATHWAY

Possess a Certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework – MQF) related to Health Sciences with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50.

OTHER RECOGNIZED QUALIFICATIONS

Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government

ENGLISH COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT

International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 4.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 3, OR equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR) (High) B1.
