Programme Overview:
We called upon all charismatic personages to join us in Doctor of Philosophy in Education here at ALFA University College. This course explores the subfields of Sociology, Anthropology, Ethnology, and much more for you to master. It is a breathtaking journey of education with no boundaries. You will accomplish and excel at the highest parameters of Education with a complete understanding of society. Your scholastic and philosophical shall illustrate the diversity of education and training models across the continent and the similarities that make all human beings fundamentally indistinguishable.
Entry Requirements
a) A Master’s Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF| or equivalent and candidates must have completed at least one (1) of their earlier Degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computing or related to computing. OR b) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) with the following conditions:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields with first-class (CGPA of 3.67 or higher) or its equivalent from an academic or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme;
- Undergo internal assessment;
- Any other requirements of the HEP. OR
c) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) candidates who are registered for Master’s Degree programmes may apply to convert to the Doctoral Degree programmes subjected to the following conditions:
- Within 1 vear for full time and within 2 years for part-time candidates:
- Having shown competency and capability in conducting research at Doctoral level through rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP; and
- Approval of the HEP Senate. OR
d) Other qualifications equivalent to a Master Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in the field or related fields recognized by the HEP Senate.
Additional Requirements (For International Students)
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example: Obtain Minimum score of 550 in Test of English as a foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) or minimum band 5.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent.
