All programmes are developed, implemented, monitored, and reviewed through robust internal quality assurance mechanisms to ensure alignment with clearly defined Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs), Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs).
Our academic programmes emphasise the balanced integration of knowledge, practical and research skills, critical thinking, communication, ethical values, digital competencies, and lifelong learning, in line with COPPA learning outcome domains. Teaching, learning, and assessment strategies are systematically aligned to ensure the achievement of intended learning outcomes, supported by qualified academic staff, appropriate facilities, and adequate learning resources.
The Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree programmes provide clear progression pathways and are designed to integrate theory with practice through industry-informed curriculum design, experiential learning, and real-world application. This ensures graduates are well prepared for employment and professional development. At the postgraduate level, our Master’s programmes offer both coursework and research pathways, while our Doctoral (PhD) programmes, in compliance with MQF Level 8, focus on advanced research, original contribution to knowledge, and the development of independent scholars and researchers.
In support of internationalisation and academic mobility, ALFA University College has established Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 12 international universities, facilitating opportunities for academic collaboration, student mobility, joint research, and progression at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels, subject to regulatory approval and academic standing.
Recognising the importance of skills-based education within Malaysia’s human capital development agenda, ALFA University College also offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes, including the Malaysian Skills Certificate (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia – SKM).
