Prof. Dr. Nurliza Binti Muslim
As we approach the year 2026, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the past year. It has been my privilege to serve as the Vice-Chancellor and CEO of ALFA University College and to witness the tremendous progress we have achieved together.
I am proud to highlight some of our most notable accomplishments, including the granting of University College status in December 2021, the successful attainment of ISO 9001:2015 certification, and the establishment of the ALFA Graduate School a key milestone marking our expansion into postgraduate education. This new phase strengthens our academic foundation, offering Master’s and advanced programmes that empower graduates and professionals to enhance their expertise and leadership in various disciplines.
These achievements are a testament to the tireless efforts and unwavering commitment of our academic and professional services staff. Your dedication has been instrumental in shaping ALFA University College into a respected institution recognized for quality education and innovation.
Over the past year, we have also hosted a variety of engaging events and initiatives both on and off campus that have brought together our students, staff, alumni, and the wider community. These activities have showcased the creativity, talent, and diversity that define ALFA. I encourage everyone to continue participating actively in our upcoming academic, cultural, and community programmes.
While we celebrate our successes, we must also acknowledge the challenges that we have faced and continue to face — from adapting to the post-pandemic learning environment to refining our learning management systems. I deeply appreciate the collective resilience and cooperation our ALFA community has shown in addressing these changes. Rest assured, we will continue to enhance our systems and processes to provide the best possible experience for all students and staff.
I am also mindful of the current cost-of-living challenges affecting many in our community. Please know that the University remains committed to supporting your wellbeing. If you require assistance or guidance, I encourage you to reach out to our Student Services Team, who are ready to provide help and resources.
In closing, I remain inspired by the people who make up the heart of ALFA University College our students, staff, alumni, and partners. Together, we will continue to advance our mission of Education for All, foster lifelong learning, and uphold our vision of academic excellence through both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Thank you for your continued contributions in making ALFA University College a truly remarkable place of learning and growth. I look forward to achieving even greater success together in the years ahead.
